I heard that taking pre-natal vitamins makes hair grow fast (and it even works for men). Actually, this makes no sense given that hair is protein and vitamins are vitamins and minerals (different than protein), but I have heard this a couple of times.

keep it clean and healthy, drink water, and keep damaged ends off. If u cut it and its healthy.... it will grow back soon on its own. Because cutting dead ends is what helps the hair. but seriously DRINK WATER... %26amp; use "Doo Gro" hair products

I feel your pain, I am in the middle of growing out a pixie cut, and its taking FOREVER!

I dont think there is an effective way to make it grow faster. If there are "magic pills" out there I doubt it will make enough difference to make it worth it.

get a deep scalp massage (i got my hair cut and they did that b4 and my hair grew about twice as fast...it was crazy) or get the hot oil treatments... just dont hurt yourself (and buy it from the store don't just heat up oil...) vitamin e (and apparently washing your hair with beer helps... i would use the beer then wash it so you dont stink tho...)

i think having a good intake of protein helps the growth cycle. try eating moderate amounts of eggs, soy and beans. there are also hair growth supplements if you really need your hair to grow that fast!

This might help...

When you shampoo your hair...spend alittle more time massaging your scalp...that stimulates your pores and makes the hair grow.

IF your hair is long enough to tigh up...that really makes a huge difference...that forces your hair out of the pores and eventually makes it longer.

Sorry, hair growth is based on genetics. The average growth of hair per month is 1 - 1%26amp;a half inches. Also cutting your hair will not make it grow faster. It will get rid of split ends, but it will not grow faster.

Sorry about wanting your hair to grow faster...maybe next time try a salon that does computer imaging...(it shows you what your hair will look like before you cut it)....or....get extensions...like a weave..but it hurts and its hard to maintain if you're not used to it.

vitamins, exercise, good nutrition.. plus trimming your hair so that if you have split ends all the nutrients don't go focusing on the split ends to fix them. It's better to just trim and have the nutrients work on the 'healthy' parts of your hair.

Hi, I am a cosmetologist. There isn't really a way to make your hair grow faster, but there are ways to keep it healthy and from breaking off. Stay hydrated, eat balanced meals, take multi-vitamins, use daily conditioner, use conditioner after you shampoo, and use heat protector when you use your styling appliances. Don't use anymore heat than you need to. If it becomes damaged or your ends are splitting, get it trimmed. Hope this helped!
