Yes. Usually hair loss is a sign of body distress. Once you're well again, they'll grow back.

It may or may not happen. It really has a lot to do with if you are at the correct thyroid levels and if you are on the correct thyroid medication. Basically the morning TSH needs to be around 1.0 if on T4 like Synthoid or Levoxyl or if you are on Armour...the free t4 needs to be midrange and the free t3 needs to be high in range.

Get the free t3 tested. If it is below midrange then the person is most likely a poor converter and needs to be on a T4/T3 medication like Armour.

Yep it'll grow back...mine did...I lost about half my hair...my hair was super thick before my surgery and it's about 95% where it was before....It takes time but it'll grow back.
