my dog has a bald patch under her eye.shes been to the vet and everything is fine.does anyone know how long the hair will take to grow back?

If she's perhaps caught the fur on a bush and pulled it out or something, should start growing back straight away. So you'll notice difference in a week or so.

Alternatively, if it's right by the eye, it could also be 'demodectic mange', sounds serious but it's not really. We all have little bugs on our skin that are harmless, but in some animals or at certain times in their lives, the bugs irritate and cause fur loss in that specific area. Is easily sorted with a presciption of Surolan (corticosteroid drops) on the skin couple times a day for a week. Quite inexpensive and it works.

Sometimes the vet will do a skin scrape, but in my experience, they don't always find anything.
