I have been trying to grow my hair out for months.I straihgten it like crazy. what can i do?It'

My hair used to be long and beautiful.At my young age of 16, I get upset that my hair isnt growing.

I started to straighten my hair when i was 13.

By the time i was 16 It was so fried, It wouldnt stay staright,. it was terrible.I have considered extensions. But after i found out how much they were i cant afford it.

My mom always told me that if you dont stop frying youre hair you aint gonna have none left.

It breaks of every day. It's getting shorter and shorter

I have tried taking hair vitamens , vitamen E oil and conditoning treatmens. but no luck.,

If yall would,

give me some advice on what i should do.

I know this will suck alot but you need to cut it and start over. Dont fry your hair again if you do grow it out!, but if you must use heat protective creams and instead of a flat iron use a hair dryer, with a brush.Just use a anti frizz cream and a shine serum.

try not to straighten it anymore. and theres nothing you can do to make your hair grow faster. just give it time. try cutting off the dead parts. it might have to get worse before it gets better. but there are some really cute short styles that you can consdier. get it angled, and then just let it grow, and be healthy.

well wat you should do is clip ur dead ends and get a deep conditioner thats what helped me..dont straighten it anymore b/c too much heat to ur hair can make it sooooo dry which has happened to you..and if that still doesnt work look 4 a place where they treat hair they could hep u... not a salon its like a special company...hoped that helped

All the straightening has probably broken your hair so it hasn't been growing. The same thing happened to me a few years ago and my hair was breaking in all kinds of places and my hairdresser told me that broken hair won't grow. You should stop straightening it, as hard as it is at first, it needs a really intensive conditioner to help it. Also get any split ends trimmed as that will help. I got my split ends trimmed recently so I'm hoping that will help it grow, the hair dresser told me it would so that should do the job! I hope you get your long hair back, thats what I want too hehe.
