Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Here we go with the Indian crap. I am black and my hair is about 4 inches above my butt and it's all mine. My mom never permed my hair. Maybe your hair is damaged because you didn't need a relaxer or you got one and it wasn't properly taken care of. When I was younger she kept my hair braided (with my own hair) and when I was old enough, she started pressing it. Now I just get it flat ironed. You have to find a hair dresser who knows what they are doing because a few years ago, I got my hair chopped off to my shoulders and I just told you how long my hair is now. Also, take vitamins. They make vitamins for your hair and nails.

Stay away from chemicals (relaxers, perms, straighters), wash and condition regularly-at least once a week, moisterize your hair and scalp with a light hair oil or light pomade weekly. Try styles like individual braids, cornrows, or kinky twists but make sure the reputable stylist does not braid tightly near your hair line. Good Luck!

The key is to stop getting relaxers! Think about it, when you don't relax for 3 months, notice how much hair that grows. All the relaxer do is damage your hair. Not sure how old you are, but think about pregnant women who don't relax their hair for at least 9 months. Then when they do, it is long, long, long. Most people think that it was the prenatal vitamins that did that. Nope! Vitamins 'DO' help, but hair grows all the time, if you are a person with good/fair health. Your first step would be to stop the relaxers, wash your hair genlty at least 1x per week, deep condition or use warm oils (like extra virgin olive oil and use a leave-in conditioner. Do this for 3 months and then you will start to see growth. Get a protein deep treatment at least 1 x a month and drink atleast 64 ounces of water daily. If you want straight hair, you can flat iron with a warm iron with a heat protector no more than 1 time a week.

I did these things and my hair is the longest it's ever been in my life!

Yes, relaxers can stifle hair growth. However, many of my clients with relaxed hair have hair below their bra straps. Chemically relaxed hair does not equal hair that will not grow. True, relaxers and all chemicals are damaging to hair growth, but if you like having chemically relaxed hair, there are several natural remedies that will increase your hair growth.

These "remedies" often are coined as falsehoods because we, as Americans, are used to processed factory made products. We count such things are old wives tales or crap. As a stylist, I can tell you that many natural products and herbs have worked on my clients with chemically damaged or balding heads. I have the testimonials to prove it.

Simply be encouraged and have faith. I have some tips for you below. Follow these and remove all negativity from your eyes and ears. Your hair, whether chemically relaxed or not, can grow. Don't people with colored hair experience hair growth? Yes. Hair dyes are peroxides, which equal chemicals and also equal a substance that makes an unnatural change in your hair that can cause damage. Relaxers are hydroxides. They have the same effect. But, one is no better than the other.

Tip #1: Stop applying chemicals to your hair. This includes hair dyes, heat styling equipment, and synthetic styling products. Unfortunately, most drugstore shampoos do nothing but damage, strip, or rob hair from the natural oils it needs to be healthy. They sacrifice instant gratification and feel for actual hair health. I use Beauty4 Ashes GodHead Silky Smooth on my ethnic and nonethnic clients with dry, damaged hair. However, for those who have balding or hair loss; I use Beauty 4 Ashes A Double Portion products. They are all natural and grow the hair quickly by using natural ingredients, such as Saw Palmetto, Aloe, Amla, Coconut, Vitamin E and Rosemary. They have a variety of products. I purchase them directly from their site wwwdiscoverb4acom. However, they have several independent consultants, like Mary Kay, who sell their products all over the net.

Tip # 2: Take Saw Palmetto, Zinc, and Biotin orally. Also, take a multivitamin if you already do not.

Tip #3: Massage your scalp daily with coconut oil. This is often on sell at Walmart or a whole foods store.

Tip #4: Drink plenty of water

Tip #5: Cover your head with a silk scarf when sleeping. Also, purchase a satin pillowcase.

Tip #6: Do not brush your hair. Your hair is in recovery. Brushing adds stress.

Tip #7: Do not wear your hair in tightly manicured styles; i.e. braids, tight ponytails.

Tip #8: Give your hair a weekly reconstructive treatment. Mix 闄?cup of mayo, 褰?cup mashed avocado, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 tsp honey, and 1 tsp lemon juice. Apply for 15-30 minutes before washing your hair. This will restore your hair and give it protein it needs to thrive.

Remember, since your hair is relaxed, avoid additional chemicals, including sulfates, parabens, silicones, and the such.
