Ok i had my hair in a pony tail until i cut it for school and i wanna kno how long will take to grow

i had been growing it since november 2005 and in may 2006 i got it trimmed soo it can be evened out ..........i just wanna know how long will it take 4 my hair to grow back so that i can have a pony tail again????
